Warehouse Associate I

Our client, transportation and logistics operations is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting day-to-day shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, reliable communication skills, and the ability to follow real-time instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Associate I Location: Aurora, CO 80011 Pay Rate: $19 per hour Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Thursday-Monday What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
• Complete work safely by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition, and take check calls from drivers while validating load data for accounting purposes What's Needed?
• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) to understand critical safety alerts, read warning labels, and follow real-time operational instructions
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and ability to load and unload trucks
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form What's in it for me?
