- Prepare jobs by building tooling, setting up fixturing, preparing materials, and loading work and tool offsets
- Coordinate with programmers regarding job status and process improvements
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize downtime
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to increase efficiency
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery
- Measure, inspect, and record part dimensions and quality data
- Support daily production activities while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What do you bring?
- Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with machine shop equipment, measuring tools, and quality inspection processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the position
