Fabrication Associate

Our client, a manufacturing and fabrication environment, is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of the production team supporting pipe fabrication and order assembly. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to accurately measure and inspect materials to meet specifications. Shift:

What's the Job?

• Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard to support production flow.
• Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and keep work supplies organized.
• Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in line with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication, including measuring, recording, and cutting pipe lengths accurately. What's Needed?
• 6-8 months of recent experience working in a manufacturing, production, fabrication, or machine operation environment.
• Experience operating industrial equipment such as band saws, welding machinery, or similar production machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, including experience using gauges and measuring tools for quality inspections.
• 3-6 months of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. What's in it for me?
