Distribution Pallet Sorter

Our client, a logistics and warehouse operations team, is seeking a Pallet Sorter - WH32 to join their team. As a Pallet Sorter - WH32, you will be part of the warehouse operations group supporting efficient pallet processing and safe material handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to meet production expectations while keeping the work area clean and organized. Job Title: Pallet Sorter - WH32 Location: Salt Lake City, UT Pay Range: $19 Shift: Monday - Friday 1pm - 9pm What's the Job?

• Hand sort pallets by grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed prior to returning pallets to the customer.
• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights, following inventory control instructions.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand and move pallets or materials around the storage facility.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure and examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and communicate directly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager. What's Needed?
• Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail, plus basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions for keeping records and completing production paperwork accurately.
• High attention to detail with a focus on preventing injury to others and promoting a safe work environment.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulate, and to repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen; understanding that overtime may be required and is considered mandatory. What's in it for me?
