1st Shift General Machine Operator (G2)

Our client, an industrial manufacturing environment, is seeking a 1st Shift General Machine Operator to join their team. As a 1st Shift General Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on safety, the ability to follow work instructions accurately, and a dependable work ethic that aligns successfully in the organization. Job Title: 1st Shift General Machine Operator Location: Morris, IL Pay Rate: $20-$22 Shift: 1st Shift What's the Job?

• Operate and monitor assigned production equipment, including an assignment such as the 9 mill operator, Strip Feeder, Calendar Operator, Line Dumper, and Wrapper.
• Follow standard work instructions and production requirements to support consistent output.
• Perform routine checks during operation to help maintain quality and safe machine performance.
• Support smooth line flow by staying attentive to machine status and communicating issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while working in a manufacturing environment. What's Needed?
• Comfort working on a production floor and operating industrial equipment as assigned.
• Ability to follow procedures, instructions, and safety expectations consistently.
• Willingness to learn multiple machine functions based on operational needs.
• Basic mechanical awareness and attention to detail to help spot issues early.
• Reliability and readiness to work scheduled shifts.
