What's the Job?

  • Prepare engineering specifications, design process and package flows, and create the drawings and documentation needed to support capital projects.
  • Lead projects through concept, design, installation, commissioning, and qualification to meet defined scope and project objectives.
  • Obtain and adopt applicable requirements, including building permits, environmental regulations, sanitary design, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, code requirements, and OSHA regulations.
  • Specify equipment and services, obtain bids, select and purchase required items, and supervise plant labor and contractors to ensure efficient execution and completion. What's Needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an engineering-based degree (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the design and installation of processing and/or packaging systems.
  • Working knowledge and ability to construct Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), with a basic understanding of ASME, ANSI, NFPA, and other industry standards.
  • Experience designing and implementing PLC, controls, and related applications for automation and cost savings in a standardized, expandable approach.
  • Experience with food safety requirements such as GMP Standards, HACCP, SQF, and BRC Certification (experience with packaging equipment such as form-fill-seal, cartoning, casepacking, conveying, palletizing, metal detection, and checkweighing is a plus). What's in it for me?
  • Competitive salaried compensation package aligned to experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits access to support health and well-being.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
  • Career development opportunities to expand skills and grow professionally.
