HVAC Technician

Our client, Facilities Management is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Engineering team supporting client sites across the Rockville, MD area. The ideal candidate will have strong HVAC/R troubleshooting skills, hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to keep accurate records while responding to work orders efficiently. Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: Rockville, MD Pay Range: $34-$36/hr. What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems to support efficient operations and equipment life expectancy.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment with a strong focus on HVAC/R systems, while also supporting multi-trade needs such as electrical distribution, piping/plumbing, and material handling equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections and document “as found” conditions that impact client occupancy and day-to-day operations.
• Use CMMS systems (such as Corrigo) to update work order status in real time and submit P-card receipts daily. What's Needed?
• Universal EPA certification.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work and other duties as required. What's in it for me?
