What You'll Do

As a Hair Designer at Mango Salon, you'll deliver exceptional guest experiences through personalized consultations and professional salon services, including:

• Precision haircutting
• Hair coloring and highlighting
• Balayage and dimensional color services
• Styling and finishing services
• Product recommendations and education
• AVEDA rituals and guest experience standards
• Building and maintaining lasting guest relationships

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty industry and committed to delivering outstanding results for every guest.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Cosmetology License
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience performing cutting, coloring, styling, and consultation services
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong ability to build guest loyalty and retention
• Ability to grow your clientele through referrals, networking, and social media
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• A growth mindset and desire for continuous learning
• Experience with AVEDA products and services is a plus

Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged standing and walking, repetitive use of hands and arms, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, and the safe operation of professional salon equipment, including shears, razors, clippers, hot tools, and waxing equipment.
