In this role, you will bridge the gap between backend database management and frontend business strategy - turning raw distribution, financial, and supply chain data into actionable visual insights. This unique position requires a professional who can not only build stunning visualizations but also manage, query, and optimize the underlying SQL database architecture. This position requires full-time presence at our corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain automated, scalable Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Database Administration: Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring database health, security, user permissions, and optimal performance.
- T-SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions to extract and manipulate data.
- Model Data: Create efficient DAX calculations, metrics, and optimized data models using star schema designs.
- Extract & Clean Data: Develop robust ETL pipelines to clean, transform, and ingest data from various enterprise sources using Power Query and advanced SQL.
- Support Finance & Accounting: Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to build financial models, P&L views, cost analyses, and variance reports.
- Analyze Supply Chain: Track and visualize key distribution metrics, including inventory turnover, shipping lead times, and freight costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside warehouse, logistics, and department managers to understand business problems and deliver comprehensive data solutions.
- Train Users: Educate and support internal teams to ensure high adoption of deployed dashboards and self-service BI tools.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Power BI Experience: 5 to 7 years of dedicated, hands-on Power BI development experience.

- Infor M3 Experience: Familiarity with Infor’s data structures and backend, such as Infor M3 (CSDE-Cloud Suite Distribution Enterprise), ION, Datalake, and BIRST.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in T-SQL development, DAX, Power Query, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Work Style: Must be a highly self-motivated professional capable of working independently to produce high-quality deliverables within an efficient timeframe.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven experience partnering directly with finance and accounting professionals to interpret financial data structures.
- Data Competency: Strong ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and work with large, complex, and sometimes messy datasets.
- AI Competency: Ability to use mainstream AI tools to develop solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Knowledge: Experience analyzing data within the flooring distribution, logistics, or wholesale sectors is desirable.
- ERP Experience: Hands-on experience working with Infor M3 data structures or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
