Machine Design Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking mechanical engineers to design and develop both military and commercial products in the areas of thermal control and energy conversion. Existing projects include both components (e.g. compressors, turbines, pumps, diesel engines) and systems (e.g. environmental control units, generators, portable greywater processors, containerized biomass reactors). You will be responsible for developing prototypes and releasing products, and therefore you must be hands-on and have the ability to test and critically evaluate your designs.

Position Requirements

• Hands-on prototyping experience
• BSME, MSME or PhD
• GPA not less than 3.3 for all degrees
• US citizenship required due to strict ITAR regulations
• Solid understanding of machine design and CAD/CAM
• Experience with test equipment, controls, and procedures
• We are looking for problem solvers; people that can innovate solutions to real-world problems
• Knowledge of INVENTOR, ANSYS/FLUENT, COMSOL, MATLAB, and LABVIEW is a plus
