Salary:

$130.00 per full day for Licensed Substitutes (Must be a certified teacher) $120.00 per full day for Non Licensed Substitutes with Substitute Effective Teacher Training or Substitute 101 Course $116.25 per full day for Non Licensed Substitutes

Qualifications:

Additional Information:

• Substitutes are employed on an "as needed" basis. Hours and continued employment are not guaranteed, therefore this position is not considered "permanent".
• Teaching staff and principals schedule their own substitutes through an online website portal (AESOP)
• Substitute performance and other staff observations will determine whether a substitute will return to the school.
• Administrators reserve the right to schedule all preferred substitutes.
• Substitutes are not permitted to work more than (30) hours per week. This is equivalent to 3 1/2 days per week.
• Employment with the Madison County Schools is contingent upon final Board approval.
