Love helping people find what they need? At Mac’s Hardware, our Sales Associates are the friendly, knowledgeable faces customers count on when they have a project to tackle.

Whether it’s finding the right product, answering a question, helping with a special order, or simply pointing someone in the right direction, you’ll make a difference every day.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Ask questions and recommend the right products for their projects
• Help customers with product questions, pricing and special orders
• Assist with sales transactions and use our point-of-sale system
• Stock, organize and merchandise products throughout the store
• Keep shelves and sales areas clean, full and ready for customers
• Help with inventory counts and receiving merchandise
• Assist customers with loading purchases when needed
• Answer customer calls and help resolve questions
• Follow store safety and loss-prevention practices

What You Bring

• A friendly, helpful attitude and great customer service skills
• Comfortable talking with customers and asking questions
• Good communication and basic math skills
• Ability to learn about hardware, building materials and home-improvement products
• Retail, sales or customer service experience is a plus
• Hardware or home-improvement knowledge is a plus - but we can teach you the products!
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder and safely move around the store

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
