M9 Solutions is seeking a Unix Engineering/System Administration to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Colorado Springs, CO. An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily systems administration and help desk tasks for Solaris and Linux environments.
• Automates administration tasks using scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Manages file systems, storage, and virtualization (ZFS, UFS, VEEAM, PDOM/LDOM).
• Configures and integrates systems with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Ensures cybersecurity compliance through best practices, STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develops and maintains documentation, performs COTS assessments, and troubleshoots issues.
• Designs, integrates, and installs system releases, and creates/updates design documents for systems engineering lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• Relevant certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CAP, or CISSP.
