Overview
JOB TITLE: Electrical Testing Field Engineer 2
WORKSITE LOCATION: Tysons, VA
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES:
Plan testing and commissioning activities. Determine testing sequence, resources, equipment, personnel, scheduling, and coordination requirements. Review and analyze test data and reports. Evaluate results against project specifications, applicable standards, and acceptance criteria. Identify deficiencies and required follow-up. Evaluate complex electrical failures, perform or direct root-cause analysis, determine corrective strategies, and provide technical direction during troubleshooting. Review drawings, schematics, specifications, test procedures, and commissioning requirements to ensure safety with respect to LOTO points and so the field activities satisfy engineering and project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and field personnel. Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior technicians and field staff.
