Warehouse Lead

Our client, a leading national discount retail and distribution company, is looking for a Team Lead to join their team in Pedricktown, NJ. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee a team of approximately 15 warehouse associates, providing training, direction, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team of approximately 15 warehouse associates throughout the shift
• Train new hires on daily responsibilities, job expectations, safety procedures, and proper work processes
• Provide hands-on support to employees during busy periods or when production lines become backed up
• Monitor workflow and assist the team in meeting daily productivity and performance goals
• Ensure employees understand their assigned tasks and provide additional coaching or training when needed
• Identify operational challenges and communicate concerns to management promptly
• Lead by example by stepping in to assist with warehouse duties whenever necessary

Requirements:

• Previous Team Lead, Warehouse Lead, or Supervisory experience in a distribution or warehouse environment required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience training and managing groups of employees
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Some Saturdays required during peak season
