Original job description
Our client, a food ingredient distribution and supply-chain company, is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Wilmington, IL. In this role, you will package sugar products, maintain a clean and organized work area, perform general warehouse duties, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Day to Day:
- Prepare, label, and package products for shipment
- Inspect products and packaging for damage or quality issues
- Verify product quantities and ensure orders are packaged accurately
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures
- Keep warehouse floors, equipment, and workstations clean and free of debris
- Report damaged products, spills, or safety concerns to a supervisor
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
About You:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. 10 to 15% of the day
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
- Must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening
Pay-Rate / Shift:
- $18.00 - $19.50 /hour
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
