Security Guard

Our client, a citrus farming and agricultural production company, is looking for a Night Watch Security Guard to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and securing the plant and grounds during overnight hours, conducting regular inspections, and responding appropriately to emergencies to ensure the safety of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities and grounds to monitor security and perform fire watch duties
• Notify authorities immediately in the event of an emergency or trespasser activity
• Follow established protocols for notifying association personnel as required
• Take preventative actions in accordance with instructions and training during emergency situations
• Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the facility during assigned hours
• Document and report any security concerns or incidents to management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a night watch or security position preferred
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong judgment and ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Schedule:
• Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Wednesday & Thursday: Off
