Delivery Driver

Our client, a building materials and cladding supply company, is looking for a Truck Driver (18ft) to join their team in Wayne, NJ. In this role, you will safely operate an 18ft delivery truck to transport and deliver building materials to customer locations while providing professional service and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow designated routes and use GPS tools to deliver items efficiently and on schedule
• Safely load, organize, and secure cargo in the vehicle and unload items at delivery locations
• Interact with customers politely and professionally representing the company positively
• Verify order contents, obtain signatures, maintain delivery logs, and process payments or receipts when required
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and fueled
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no major moving violations required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50–70 lbs
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and perform physical delivery tasks throughout the shift

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
