CNC Machine Operator

Our client, a precision plastics manufacturing company, is looking for CNC Machine Operators to join their team in Clifton, NJ. In this role, you will operate CNC machines under supervision, perform tool changes, load and unload parts and conduct basic inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 1–2 CNC machines under supervision
• Perform tool changes and offset adjustments for one machine
• Load and unload parts with correct fastening torque using calibrated torque wrenches
• Perform basic visual inspections for defects including surface finish and missing features
• Use inspection tools such as calipers and go/no-go gauges under guidance
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and routers to ensure accurate part handling and processing
• Perform manual deburring and filing of machined parts
• Use magnifying lenses and sanding tools for surface finishing
• Operate hand drills and reamers under supervision
• Accurately complete all required job documentation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in CNC (Lathe) or manufacturing
• Basic ability to read SOPs, work instructions, and perform visual inspection
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools
• Ability to visually inspect small parts and identify color variation
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)
• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:25 PM – 1:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 12:50 AM – 8:00 AM
