Program Assistant (CNA) Adult Day Program

Lutheran Home Adult Day Services is excited to offer an opportunity for a CNA to join our team as a Program Assistant! The Program Assistant will work within our adult day center facilitating meaningful enrichment activities with the day program participants. The Program Assistant may assist with activities of daily living for participants as required. Additional duties include closing the center and any other duties as assigned. The Program Assistant should be friendly, energetic, and customer service oriented as well as dedicated to our mission and "4 C's." Hours for the position are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday (no weekends, no holidays!) The ability to work alternate shifts as needed is a requirement (for example, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.)

Requirements for the position:

• 1-year experience in a senior care setting; prior day program or memory care experience preferred
• Prior experience facilitating activities with the senior population
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with peers, participants and clients
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Wisconsin
