Bartender

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bartender at Ludlow High School. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our school events and community gatherings while gaining valuable experience in beverage service and customer interaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including non-alcoholic drinks, to students, staff, and guests during school events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked and in good condition.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after events.
• Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure the bar service meets the needs of each event.
• Promote a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and follow all beverage preparation and safety guidelines.
• Availability to work during school events, including evenings and weekends as needed.
