Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for welding, equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding procedures, including machine setup, gas bottle changes, and necessary fittings.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including tips, liners, and other components.
• Weld aluminum and galvanized metal in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for quality issues such as cracks, burn-through, and weld spatter.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded areas as required.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts.
• Follow all hazardous waste disposal and fire prevention procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW (MIG) welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
