Location: Newton, KS

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Additional Hours: 5-hour shifts on Saturdays

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Fabrication Machine Operator to join our team in Newton, KS. In this role, you will operate a variety of fabrication equipment used to cut, punch, drill, and bend metal. Operators are responsible for machine setups, tool and die changes, basic equipment maintenance, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout the production process.

Essential Duties

• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine setups and change tools and dies as needed.
• Deburr parts and inspect finished products for quality.
• Verify correct materials are being used before production begins.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines and tooling.
• Meet production and quality standards.
• Operate multiple machines when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing on concrete surfaces.
• Frequent bending, walking, twisting, and turning.
• Occasional squatting, kneeling, sitting, and overhead reaching.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of up to 80 pounds and pushing or pulling materials requiring up to 80 pounds of force.
• Ability to operate machinery using buttons, levers, and switches.
