At LOWRY CONSTRUCTION INC, team members in this role are responsible for joining, cutting, and shaping metal materials using a variety of welding, soldering, brazing, and heat cutting techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Selecting appropriate materials, tools, and welding methods based on job specifications.
• Preparing and cleaning metal surfaces for welding, cutting, soldering, or brazing.
• Operating welding and cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas torches, plasma cutters, soldering irons, and brazing machines.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure structural integrity and adherence to quality standards.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Ensuring a safe work environment by following company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Must pass drug screening

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with various welding, cutting, soldering, and brazing techniques is preferred, along with familiarity with different metals and alloys used in construction projects.
