Assistant Cafeteria Manager

Lower Merion School District is hiring an Assistant Complex/Cafeteria Manager at Lower Merion High School!

Food service and catering experience required. Food Handler’s Serv-Safe certificate required. Must have food service management experience, excellent customer service and knowledge of food production. Seeking strong team leader with excellent communication, leadership and public relation skills. Knowledge of production record completion, HACCP procedures and computer skills (i.e. Point-of Sale) required.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; this job requires frequent physical activity. Responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of Nutritional Services Operation to ensure high quality food and service are provided for students, faculty and guests. Assistant Complex Manager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the food service program according to district policy and State and Federal Guidelines. Assistant Complex Manager works with the Complex Manager to provide training, guidance and supervision for food service associates.

This position is 190 days per year. Starting salary is $32,445.00 (salary is subject to be prorated based on start date). Salary & benefits are set by the LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
