Machine Operator

Logoplaste is currently seeking a night shift Machine Operator to join the team in Mecosta, MI (USA). Shift: 12-hour shifts, nights, 2-2-3 schedule, working 50% of the month! Pay Rate: $22 plus $1 shift differential. SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible for operating site-specific equipment (injection molding, blow molding or extrusion) and meeting all production, quality and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities - Operate and troubleshoot production equipment efficiently - Set up, adjust, repair, and maintain machinery and processes - Perform quality checks and complete production documentation - Assist with mold changes, machine startups/shutdowns, and material handling - Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives - Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards - Maintain production efficiency, reduce scrap, and support inventory control Qualifications - Experience in blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion preferred - Knowledge of HDPE and/or PET manufacturing processes - Forklift and warehouse experience preferred - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP) - Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
