Part-Time Scale Operator – Logistec Schedule: Part-time, weekends only (Saturday and Sunday required) Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 4 hours per scheduled shift Position Summary Logistec, member of the Enstructure group., is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Scale Operator to support weekend terminal operations. This position is responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing trucks, recording material weights, maintaining accurate transaction records, and assisting drivers through the scale process.

Responsibilities

Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory. A minimum of four hours is guaranteed per scheduled shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Accurately record truck weights, material quantities, and transaction information.
• Verify shipping documents, scale tickets, and related paperwork.
• Communicate with truck drivers and terminal personnel to ensure an efficient flow of traffic.
• Maintain accurate records of daily scale transactions and material movements.
• Identify and report discrepancies in weights or documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and terminal operating guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized scale house and work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in scale operations, logistics, trucking, shipping and receiving, or terminal operations is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently.
• Schedule Requirements
• Part-time position working Saturdays and Sundays.
• Availability on both Saturday and Sunday is required.
• A minimum of four hours is guaranteed per scheduled shift.
• Must be dependable and punctual for all scheduled weekend shifts.
