Manufacturing Robotics Engineer - E2

Standard Job Description

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts utilizing automation and other techniques to maximize quality and efficiency. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers. Responsible for life cycle of automated processes and equipment from design to implementation to maintenance and upgrades. Stays informed of new developments in automation to facilitate continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience implementing new software, tooling and processes to dial in efficiencies, engineering changes and/or lessons learned.
• Experience working with stakeholders to implement new solutions.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment and document processes into SOP's for knowledge transfer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Contols, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or closely related discipline from and accredited college or university.
• Experience operating and/or maintaining robotic equipment.

Desired Skills

Experience programming FANUC controllers.

Experience with automated paint booths including robotic inspection techniques, including: laser and structured light methods.

Programming experience with the following controllers: Allen Bradley CompactLogix, Universal Robots UR 10e, Harness Builder software

Experience with C#, MySQL, Polyworks, Spotlight AR++, or Excel VBA

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
