- Review the pipeline with Market and Growth leaders to assess strategic fit, timing, funding, competition, gaps, risks, and the next actions required to advance or close each opportunity.
- Coordinate and facilitate the corporate pipeline and opportunity review cadence, including preparing agendas and supporting materials, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Partner with Market and Growth leaders to establish effective market-level review cadences, promote consistent pipeline management practices, and drive alignment with corporate expectations for pipeline quality, opportunity progression, and accountability.
Pipeline systems and data quality
- Maintain the day-to-day accuracy and usability of the pipeline management tool, process routine updates, and help users follow established workflows and data standards.
- Monitor records for completeness, consistency, and timeliness; resolve routine discrepancies and follow up with opportunity owners when information is missing or outdated.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and forecasts that show pipeline health and growth activity; document procedures and coordinate system or reporting improvements with internal teams and vendors.
Market research and competitive analysis
- Research federal customer missions, budgets, priorities, acquisition history, contract vehicles, and procurement activity using GovWin, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, and other lawful public or commercial sources.
- Monitor agency forecasts, funding activity, recompetes, expiring contracts, and other demand signals to identify potential opportunities for review by Market and Growth leaders.
- Prepare concise customer, opportunity, and competitor profiles and support competitive assessments and price-to-win research with traceable sources, clearly stated findings, and appropriate caveats.
Growth operations and professional development
- Develop communications, guidance, and working materials that help Account, Capture, Business Development, Finance, and Market teams coordinate growth activities.
- Take on progressively more complex account, opportunity, and capture support assignments to build the judgment, customer understanding, and execution skills expected of future Account or Capture Executives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, finance, data analytics, public policy, or a related field.
- Two or more years of relevant experience in growth operations, business analysis, business development, sales, market intelligence, pipeline management, or a related function.
