ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Technical Program Manager, you will own the delivery of new features for LVT's deployed hardware models and for the next-generation models still in development. You will run programs end to end, from scope and schedule through cross-team dependencies, risk, and release, across firmware, hardware, backend software, and go-to-market. You will give stakeholders clear communication and real visibility into execution, and you will prioritize aggressively so effort is put toward features customers value. This role is built for a TPM ready to own programs and improve how the team operates.
LVT is a flexible-first company, and this role is in person at our office in American Fork, UT, where you will work alongside the hardware, firmware, and software teams you partner with. Because our work involves physical hardware, occasional travel (approximately 5–15%) may be needed to visit our facilities or partners.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Feature Programs End to End: Drive scope, schedule, dependencies, and risk for new features on existing hardware models, from intake through release to the field.
- Deliver Features for Models in Development: Align feature timelines with hardware milestones across prototyping, validation, and production so software and hardware land together.
- Resolve Cross-Team Blockers: Work directly with engineers across firmware, hardware, and backend software to clear blockers, and escalate only the risks that need a leadership decision.
- Prioritize Aggressively: Protect the critical path by declining or deferring work that doesn't serve the plan, and make tradeoffs visible to the people who own them.
- Communicate Without Surprises: Tailor updates to each audience so stakeholders always know status, risks, and the decisions needed from them.
- Build Visibility Into Execution: Maintain accurate roadmaps, dashboards, and status reporting in Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet that take minutes to read, not hours.
- Recover Slipping Programs: Replan quickly when schedules slip, bringing options and a recommendation to escalation conversations rather than only the problem.
- Pressure-Test Plans and Estimates: Use working knowledge of LVT's hardware, firmware, and cloud architecture to spot unrealistic estimates and hold credible conversations with engineers.
- Improve How the Team Operates: Refine templates, status reporting, and ceremonies for your programs, onboard new TPMs, and contribute to TPM candidate interviews.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Program Ownership: You have run programs end to end with minimal supervision and can point to features or products you shipped on time and on scope.
- Technical Credibility: You understand the systems your programs touch well enough to identify risk and challenge estimates. You don't need to be an engineer, but engineers can't fool you.
- Clear Communicator: You write and speak concisely, adjust to your audience, and surface bad news early.
- Prioritization Discipline: You say no to work that doesn't serve the plan, and you explain the tradeoff instead of absorbing the request.
- Cross-Functional Influence: You earn trust across Product, Software, Firmware, and Hardware and keep multiple teams working from the same plan, even as it shifts.
- Judgment on Escalation: You know which risks to solve yourself and which to raise, and you raise them with a proposed path forward.
- Experience: You likely have 3–6 years of experience in technical program management or a related role, with fluency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- A Plus: Experience with hardware+edge+cloud products including validation, manufacturing, or supply chain.
BENEFITS

Full-time benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
