Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping the environment clean, organized, and safe for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, hallways, common areas, offices, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors as needed.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and frequently touched surfaces.
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and waste.
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Follow established infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or cleaning supply shortages.
• Perform other housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and safe handling of cleaning products is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to maintain a clean and safe environment in a healthcare setting.
