Class A Driver Applicator

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a local Company, in search of a Class A Driver Applicator in Santa Maria CA!

Type of Hire: Contract to Hire Title: Class A Driver Applicator Location: Santa Maria, CA Work Schedule: Night Shift, 5pm until finished, 8 -10 hour shift Monday- Saturday ,40hrs a week with overtime as needed Compensation: $23.00- $25.00

Principle Duties:

Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to crops in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.

• Operate and maintain application equipment, including sprayers and other machinery.
• Mix and prepare chemical solutions as per the instructions.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust application strategies accordingly.
• Keep detailed records of applications and product usage.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding application schedules and progress.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Applicator or similar role in agricultural settings.
• Knowledge of various pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, including proper handling and application techniques.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining agricultural application equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in application processes.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
