Senior API Developer - Java/Spring - 3702441

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior API Developer - Java/Spring position! This is a 6+ month contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and enhance enterprise-wide APIs and microservices supporting a large-scale bank modernization effort
• Drive migration of services from on-prem infrastructure to Azure cloud as part of platform modernization initiative
• Develop Java Spring REST APIs independently from design through production deployment
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams, subsystem teams, service consumers, and internal bank stakeholders
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple systems and provide production-like support for critical services
• Own technical solutions end-to-end including design discussions, code reviews, and implementation oversight
• Focus on transitory layer microservices handling enterprise integrations without database or storage management
• Support ongoing enhancements to existing microservices while contributing to cloud transformation roadmap

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5-7+ years minimum of hands-on software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java Spring framework for building REST APIs
• Proven experience with enterprise integrations and working across distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems
• Experience independently owning technical solutions from concept to production
• Track record of leading design discussions and conducting code reviews
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Previous banking or financial services experience is a plus

Pay Range: $55 - $60+/hr
