Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Miami, FL | 100% On-Site

Pay: $24-$26/hour

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who knows Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT? We'e seeking a hands-on Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting team in Miami. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience along with direct Financial Edge NXT experience and be comfortable stepping in quickly to help strengthen AP processes and payment cycles.

What You'll Do

• Process accounts payable transactions and payments accurately and timely
• Work within Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT for AP processing, research, and payment activity
• Research transactions and resolve AP discrepancies
• Code and review invoices and supporting documentation
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close
• Enter payment and check information into the accounting system
• Communicate with budget managers regarding invoices, approvals, and documentation
• Ensure appropriate documentation is received before payments are processed
• Help reinforce established AP deadlines, procedures, and payment cycles
• Partner with the accounting team to troubleshoot AP and system-related issues

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Hands-on Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of AP workflows, payment processing, reconciliations, and invoice coding
• Comfortable researching transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work within established deadlines
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Miami, FL

This is a great temporary opportunity for an experienced AP professional who can hit the ground running and help bring consistency and efficiency to the payment process.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
