Job Description

The Senior Accountant Consultant will provide hands-on accounting support with a primary focus on fixed asset and capital accounting. This individual will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, and accounting treatment while supporting key deliverables throughout the engagement.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations Support capitalization, transfers, retirements, and disposals of assets Review and account for lease agreements and related activity Prepare depreciation and fixed asset schedules Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Assist with month-end close activities Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide additional accounting support as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably at the Senior Accountant level Hands-on fixed asset accounting experience required Experience with capital assets, lease agreements, and asset disposals Strong general ledger, journal entry, and reconciliation experience Solid understanding of GAAP Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently, take ownership, and quickly adapt to new systems and processes Previous consulting, interim, or project-based accounting experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour depending on experience and overall qualifications.
