Original job description

Are you the estimator who can spot a scope gap before anyone else does? Know your way around federal bids, subcontractor pricing, and complex SOWs?

We’re looking for a Senior Construction Estimator with 10+ years of experience who knows how to turn plans, specs, and numbers into competitive, winning bids.

This is a high-impact role with direct access to company leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of estimates from initial takeoff through final proposal and project turnover.

What You’ll Own

  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and complete construction estimates.
  • Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Solicit, analyze, level, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids.
  • Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Prepare competitive proposals, cost narratives, and pricing breakdowns.
  • Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and estimating discussions.
  • Partner with operations to ensure a smooth turnover after award.
  • Track estimated versus actual costs to continuously sharpen future bids.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
