Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Location: Oakdale, CA Pay Range: $30.76 - $42.30 per hour Schedule: 2nd Shift, 1:45 PM - 11:00 PM, 6 days per week Employment Type: Contract with potential for extension Employer: LHH Job Overview LHH is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for an onsite opportunity in Oakdale, CA. This position is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience directly supervising hourly production employees and overseeing day-to-day plant operations. The Production Supervisor will lead daily production activities while driving performance across safety, quality, staffing, productivity, efficiency, downtime, and schedule attainment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with food processing or high-volume food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly production employees to execute daily production plans and meet quality, productivity, safety, and cost expectations
• Oversee daily staffing, production schedules, equipment needs, downtime, efficiency, and overall line performance
• Identify production issues and bottlenecks and lead structured root-cause problem-solving efforts
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and sustain standard work across production operations
• Coach, train, and develop employees while providing ongoing performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with plant policies, safety requirements, food safety standards, and GMPs
• Support sanitation and operational activities to maintain a clean and food-safe manufacturing environment
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to address operational needs
• Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts
• Support daily planning and execution to consistently achieve production targets

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience directly supervising hourly production employees
• Experience owning or leading a production shift, line, or department
• Food processing or high-volume food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of production equipment, processes, safety, quality, and efficiency metrics
• Experience with root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and standard work
• Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Physical Requirements This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require walking throughout the facility, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks requiring hand-eye coordination. The role may also require lifting or carrying materials of varying weights and sizes. Employees may work around large moving equipment, elevated noise levels, and varying temperatures.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is $30.76 - $42.30 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
