Plant Manager

LHH is seeking an experienced Plant Manager in Itasca, IL to lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. This role will lead plant performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence initiatives to support continued business growth. Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and workforce management.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Develop and execute strategies to support production scaling and business growth.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Build, coach, and develop manufacturing leadership and production teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven manufacturing leadership, working within multiple production departments.
• Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs.
• Experience within CNC machining or similar precision manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience scaling manufacturing operations to support significant business growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
