Original job description

Business Systems Administrator Location: Fort Worth (Southwest area) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | 100% Onsite Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Industry: Construction / Restoration The Opportunity We are seeking a Business Systems Administrator to take ownership of the business applications and technology processes that keep a growing organization running effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the bridge between technology and the business. You will administer core applications, support users, help manage integrations and data flows, lead software implementations and technology projects, and work directly with department leaders to improve how technology supports day-to-day operations. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you won't simply maintain systems. You'll have the opportunity to improve them, solve business problems, and drive technology adoption across the organization. What You'll Do Business Applications & Systems

  • Administer core business applications, including ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, LMS, project management and field-service systems
  • Manage users, roles, permissions, application configuration, licensing and reporting
  • Monitor integrations, scheduled data syncs and system interfaces
  • Troubleshoot application and data-flow issues before they impact users or reporting
  • Partner with business leaders to improve system configuration and operational efficiency

Software Implementations & IT Projects

  • Lead and support software deployments and technology initiatives from requirements through go-live
  • Coordinate configuration, data migration, testing, cutover and user adoption
  • Translate business requirements into practical system and process improvements
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve workflows

Application Support & MSP Coordination

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee application-support needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues whenever possible
  • Determine when problems are application-related versus infrastructure-related
  • Escalate infrastructure issues to the company's Managed Services Provider and drive tickets through resolution
  • Identify recurring support issues and address their root causes
  • Develop user documentation, training materials and quick-reference guides

User Access & Technology Lifecycle

  • Coordinate IT onboarding so new employees have the accounts, applications, licenses and equipment they need on day one
  • Manage offboarding activities, including account/access removal and equipment recovery
  • Maintain role-based access standards and participate in periodic access reviews
  • Maintain accurate technology asset and application-license inventories

Reporting, Vendors & Technology Spend

  • Maintain visibility into software licenses, subscriptions, renewals and IT operating expenses
  • Reconcile licensing and vendor invoices against actual usage
  • Provide leadership with advance visibility into upcoming renewals
  • Assist with vendor evaluations, software contracts and renewal decisions
  • Provide usage, cost and technical information to support purchasing decisions

What We're Looking For Required

  • 3+ years of experience supporting business applications in a corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience with software implementations, upgrades or application rollouts
  • Experience administering enterprise or line-of-business applications
  • Strong application troubleshooting and end-user support skills
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, roles and access
  • Ability to work with multiple departments to understand business processes and translate needs into system improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects, support requests and vendor relationships simultaneously
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday in Benbrook, Texas

Highly Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • ERP and/or CRM administration experience
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Experience supporting application integrations, data interfaces or scheduled system syncs
  • Experience working with an external Managed Services Provider (MSP)
  • Experience with data migration, user acceptance testing, software deployment and user training
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

What Will Make You Successful

You'll be a strong fit if you're someone who:

  • Likes owning systems instead of simply escalating problems
  • Can communicate equally well with end users, executives, vendors and technical resources
  • Enjoys troubleshooting and figuring out why something isn't working
  • Understands both the technical and business sides of an application
  • Takes initiative when a workflow, integration or process can be improved
  • Can manage a software implementation without losing sight of the people who ultimately have to use it
  • Thrives in a hands-on environment where priorities can range from helping an employee solve an application issue to leading a company-wide technology rollout

Why This Role? This position offers considerably more ownership than a traditional application-support role. You'll have visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence how business systems, integrations, processes and technology investments evolve. If you're an Application Administrator, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Administrator, Systems Administrator, Business Applications Administrator, or Application Support Analyst ready for broader ownership, we'd like to hear from you. Compensation: $90,000-$120,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
