The School Social Worker supports students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success through counseling, intervention, assessment, and collaboration with families, school staff, and community resources.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Master of Social Work degree (MSW)
- Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as School Social Worker
- Experience with children and schools
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Weeks, salary, and fringe benefits per LIEA master contract. Exempt.
