POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: Entry level Cook position responsible for the timely preparation of all food orders received on the line at assigned location to ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares food according to menu and prep cook standards.
• Preps food for Senior Cooks.
• Make soup according to recipes.
• Operates fryers and cooks on grill.
• Stocks inventory as needed.
• Delivers exceptional internal and external guest service standards.
• Meets expectations of line/prep cook positions and performance standards.
• Maintains full understanding of each line position and responsibilities at each station
• Learns and understands menu and food preparation at all stations.
• Understands the impact of the kitchen staff on guest satisfaction
• Meets or exceeds kitchen sanitation standards
• Meets ticket time goals
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
