Procurement Support Specialist - Workstrings International @ Superior Energy Services

General Purpose of the JobProvides day-to-day support to Procurement operations related to new asset processing, movement and verification of new assets, modifications to existing assets, and inventory handling of bar stock.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks using a forklift and overhead crane.Move tools and assets within the shop using a forklift and overhead crane.Transport tools to and from various workstations across the campus using a forklift.Use handheld power tools in support of asset processing activities.Perform inventory functions, measure and document bar stock length.Perform dimensional checks on assets.Steel-stamp and stencil assets as required.Review shipping and receiving paperwork for assets being received or loaded for shipment.Follow and adhere to applicable Quality Assurance (QA) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures. Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, procurement support, material handling, shipping/receiving, or related industrialenvironment is preferred.Technical and Behavioral AbilitiesAbility to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane for the duties assigned; required training or authorization shouldbe established in accordance with company policy.Ability to use handheld power tools.Ability to perform basic dimensional checks and asset marking/stenciling.Ability to review shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
