Responsibilities:
Performing structural steel design and design control operations following codes such as AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, ABSApply knowledge of engineering principles to design or upgrade different types of light or heavy steel structures for the upstream petroleum market
Develop 3D structural engineering models Perform bolted and welded steel connection design per AISCPreparing technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering1 - 5 years of steel design experience
Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English to interpret technical information, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with team members and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling structures
Knowledge in at least one of the following software:Bentley SACS - Offshore StructuresBentley STAAD – Structural Analysis & DesignSAFI - Structural Engineering Modules GSE or PSESAP 2000 – Structural Analysis & DesignANSYS – Engineering FEA Simulation Software
