At LearnWell, we are committed to changing the lives of the 10 million students in the U.S. who are dealing with behavioral health challenges. For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients continue their education during treatment and successfully reintegrate into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a lasting positive impact for generations to come.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in New Jersey on a full or part-time basis for the school year. This unique position involves working in fast-paced behavioral health facilities, providing academic support to child and adolescent patients in a small classroom setting while they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized support to students, and regularly communicate regarding student progress. You will also monitor and adjust instructional strategies to ensure student success, while maintaining accurate attendance and session documentation. Most class sizes range from 8 to 15 students at any given time.

This position is a 20 or 40-hour per week commitment, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm or 7:30am–4:00pm. Candidates may be placed across a network of behavioral health facilities located in Long Branch, Old Bridge, Belle Mead, North Brunswick, and Somerset. We offer a generous benefits package including paid time off (vacation, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks), as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additional benefits include paid family leave options, a 401(k), employer-sponsored life insurance, and annual tuition reimbursement grants.
