Chef

The Chef is responsible for ensuring that children consume healthful meals that include trying new foods, appropriate portions, minimal waste and supporting the educational curriculum. REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or GED. Certifications as required by Head Start, Day Care Licensing and/or WV Board of Education. Minimum of 6 months of closely related work experience is preferred. General familiarity with MS Office and data entry programs. Valid driver's license with proof of liability insurance. Acceptable pre-employment criminal background check, protective services record check, substance abuse screening, driving record, and others. Regular physical examinations documenting job fitness. Able to obtain and/or maintain other required licensing as required. For Example: CPR, First Aid, S.T.A.R.S Certification, Food Handlers Card, Person-In-Charge, etc. BENEFITS: Insurance - Health, Life, Aflac. PTO - Sick, Vacation, Holidays.
