Lawn Care Technician

Near Bridgeville, in the South Hills. Full time, Monday through Friday, start around 7:30 a.m. Saturday only when rain pushes the week. Seasonal, roughly spring through fall. In winter the job turns to part-time snow removal, and you may be eligible for unemployment for the rest.

Lawnify is a small landscaping company that is growing on purpose. We hire teammates, not employees, and we want people who will be here for years, not a crew we replace every spring. You'll work alongside owners and managers who are certified pesticide applicators themselves. The people you work with are expected to be steady, respectful, and easy to spend a day with. Drama doesn't last here.

You'll drive the truck and run the sprayers, spreaders, and aerators on our lawn care program: fertilizer, weed control, grub and insect control, disease treatments, lime, and aeration and overseeding. You follow the label every time and keep the application records Pennsylvania requires.

No pesticide license needed to apply. We train you. After at least 30 days of training under one of our certified applicators, you can become a Pennsylvania Registered Pesticide Technician, and Lawnify pays for the registration. If you've already run aerations, overseeding, and fertilizer and weed-control programs, we especially want to hear from you. No experience is fine too. You need a valid driver's license, a reliable way to the shop, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work outside in heat, cold, and rain.

Trainees without lawn care experience start at $20 to $23 an hour. Experienced or licensed lawn care pros start at $23 to $26, based on experience. Health insurance is available after roughly one year, and winter months count toward it. Pay is weekly.
