Line cook

Laskaris Restaurant is seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food according to established recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.

The ideal candidate is a versatile team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and move between different stations, including the grill, fryer, and prep areas, as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, stock, organize, and sanitize the assigned kitchen station before and after service.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces.
• Cook and plate orders accurately and efficiently according to recipes and customer requests.
• Assist other kitchen stations during busy periods as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Properly label, date, store, and handle food according to health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory at the station and communicate when ingredients or supplies need to be replenished.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth and timely service.

Schedule: 9:30 AM - 7:30 PM shifts available, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Pay: $15/hour.
