Warehouse Supervisor

A leading retail distribution organization is hiring four Warehouse Supervisors to oversee daily warehouse operations across inbound and outbound departments. These are direct-hire opportunities for experienced warehouse leaders who can manage teams, drive productivity, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure operational goals are consistently met. The ideal candidates have hands-on supervisory experience, strong labor management skills, and the ability to hold employees accountable in a fast-paced distribution environment. What’s the job? - Oversee daily warehouse operations within one of four departments: full-case stock, break-case stock, full-case fill, or break-case fill

• Manage inbound or outbound warehouse activities to ensure operational goals are achieved
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees while maintaining accountability for performance
• Plan daily workloads, allocate labor, and adjust staffing based on operational demands
• Monitor productivity, safety, quality, and service levels to ensure departmental performance
• Address employee performance concerns and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
• Manage overtime and ensure labor resources are being utilized effectively
• Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure a safe, organized warehouse environment
• Validate payroll and assist with hiring, performance reviews, and employee development
• Work closely with team leads to coordinate daily execution and resolve operational challenges
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, quality, and overall warehouse efficiency
• Utilize warehouse management systems and labor management tools to monitor performance and operational results What’s needed? - 2+ years of warehouse supervisory experience; 5+ years preferred
• Proven experience directly managing employees and overseeing daily warehouse operations
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and accountability
• Experience planning workloads, allocating labor, and managing overtime
• Ability to enforce safety and quality standards within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing productivity goals and operational KPIs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and labor management systems
• Manhattan WMS experience preferred
• Full-case, break-case, inbound, outbound, or retail distribution experience preferred
• Continuous improvement experience with examples of improving productivity, quality, or workflow preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience Key Details - Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base salary + eligibility for 10% annual performance bonus
