• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and tables.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to IHOP recipes, quality standards, and guest specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper portioning.
• Stock and prepare ingredients for service, including prepping and storing food items properly.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and fellow kitchen team members.
• Assist with inventory management and notify management of product shortages.
• Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure guests receive timely service.
• Support other kitchen and restaurant duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or cooking experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
