Join LAFCU! As an SMSR, you'll help members open accounts, explore lending options, and find products and services that support their financial goals. What You'll Do - Provide friendly, accurate service while answering questions and resolving member concerns. - Open accounts and assist with debit cards, digital banking, direct deposits, and other financial services. - Process transactions, maintain accurate records, and complete daily balancing. - Interview loan applicants, review required documentation, recommend applications for approval or denial, and coordinate loan closings. - Build member relationships by identifying needs and recommending relevant LAFCU products and services. - Follow credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements while meeting individual and team goals. What You'll Bring - High school diploma or GED. - Two years of member/customer service experience in a financial institution required. - Strong communication, problem-solving, computer, and basic math skills. - Accuracy, dependability, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceptional member service. - Ability to register with the NMLS and meet SAFE Act requirements.
